That's this quarter, where the rising tide lifts all boats. I was talking about the past two quarters, where AMD reported record market share but not so record revenues and profits. Intel's IAG revenues tanked as well, to be sure, but at least IAG was more than profitable.

<Their total revenue is down because their flash revenue is way down.>

No doubt Intel's revenue also took a hit from non-IAG businesses. But all that is irrelevant. AMD is pursuing a goal of 30% market share, but without rising ASP, that goal won't be sustainable if it's even achievable.

I see the same theme over and over again: Wait 'til Hammer. Even AnandTech in their usual praise of the latest Athlon MP platform (760MPX) is starting to echo this theme. It should be obvious why.
