So suicide bombings of pizza parlors, shopping malls, etc. are OK with you?

Your assertions about the settlements may well be correct. Personally I think the acceptance of the Barak offer or some other negotiated agreement taking off from it would have put a limit on the settlement strategy. Too bad they didn't go for that.

BTW what do pizza parlors and shopping malls, etc. have to do with settlements off in the hills, anyway?

Posession is 99% of the law, isn't it?

The Israelis are doing what they need to for survival, because let's face it, nobody will ever give the Jews any quarter one way or the other, history has incessantly demonstrated that.

Besides, I still think it's something in the drinking water in that part of the world. It's been what, 50 years, that one has talked of Judeo-Christian civilization and culture. But that region and the surrounding areas was really the cradle of civilization, involving all three of these mono-theist religions. There are places there that belong to the patrimony of the human race. This Islamist notion that any other religion is to be eradicated in some holy jihad is total nonsense.

The Palestinians are being used as cannon fodder in the goal of the elimination of Jews. If this were not the case, there would have been a resolution of this territorial conflict long ago.
