The last time I tuned it to an Orchid presentation,
they were making it sound like a reagents company
and I got bored quick. I used to think that the
megasnipatron was going to give them some leverage
over the SNP consortium. But the whole pharmacogenomics
thing sure lost its sex appeal in the tech downturn.

So, enuf babble from me. How about some sexy one liners
for those three companies? Summarizing a whole company
in once sentence is kinda fun, not fair, but entertaining.
And I want to do fun one liners for my contest entry.

Hey Larry--is it New Genes or Neu Genes? Either way, I
like it. There has to be a sound bite in there. And good
luck in the 2002 contest! I am thinking about doing
Valentis rather than Ariad, but aria is looking strong
of late. Nice trade since October (I did not, damn...)

Bob--the contest rules say at
least five picks I think.
Subject 52126
That might be the rule for 2001.

I have already placed an example entry (with luck,
it will not outperform my real contest entry)

my idea.
