OT-linguistics, excuse me for forgetting the "the", as in What is [the] human "race" thing?? Ilmarinen My english teacher would really have pointed out that the, as my biology teacher would have on that the "race" thing?? My history teacher might have become excited??? At this age I would have asked them all "what is the historical concept"??? (my freudian buddy would ROTFLOL on the (the same ??) floor on all those teachers, but would probably not understand the what and it, the it it costed woody allen to pay for his analysis, tough stuff) Woody??? why not Hawk??? the Foreign Affair aspects?? What is human "race" thing?? My point was about the racial remark he made. He has a habit of doing it, in fun, but it backfires on him. I was more impressed with other things in the Grapes of Wrath, The point was what the Russian audience saw in it. We, in this country, see the Joad family as poor, they saw them as rich. Most of the world consists of nations of huts, with an occasional Palace. The USA is a nation of Palaces, with an occasional hut.
