Intel news: SMT Xeons at Akiba: watch.impress.co.jp Note the boot screen: Dual Xeons with SMT are recognized as 4 CPUs. So one CPU requires Windows XP professional (won't work with Windows XP) Two CPUs requires Windows 2000 server (won't work with Windows XP Pro or Windows 2000 Pro).
