Details of Times Square Security preparation were just detailed on the New York City network news. Here they are: 7000 uniform and undercover police officers to protect and monitor 1/2 million expected people. Special devices to detect regular and chemical bombs. No backpacks, shopping bags or alcohol allowed. No parking for a large number of city blocks around the area (to midtown I think) No mention of air cover, but supposedly it's still going on. That's it. All I can say is you'd have to be nuts to want to be there, and I'm praying nothing happens.
