Heard about all the Canadians who come to the US for "elective" treatment?

Elective doesn't mean the condition isn't causing them pain or disrupting their lives; it just means it isn't going to kill them quickly, so they can be put on a LONG waiting list.

Under statist systems, politicians and high-level government bureaucrats get good medical care and everybody else gets leftovers; screwed, basically.

Under capitalist systems, if you can get money, you get treated quickly; otherwise you end up in the American equivalent of Canada's system.
