not all stocks will go up in jan so why not try to make $$$ going the other way with the high flyers?

DOW is 5% above 3 years ago, 13% below 2 years and 6% below last year

SPX -11% -21% -11% for same time frames

NASD -17% -50% -17%

FMAGX -3% -18% -9%

so basically if one had put their money in a VERY diversified portfolio three years ago you would be flat to under water a tad
