Hah! You have apparently forgotten about the unqualified support of Vanessa Redgrave.

Seriously? Yes, I think there are many in the US and Europe who feel goodwill towards the Palestinians. I maintain some skepticism of such words from Arabic nations, because of the shabby treatment such governments have demonstrated towards Palestinians for many generations.

I am hopeful and actually believe, however, that among fresh generations of folks in Arab nations, some stated support may be heartfelt. I can usually tell, because caring people feel sympathy for the sufferers of war on both sides, not just one.

And most Arab governments take every opportunity to announce support for the Palestinians with some sort of denouncement of Israel. They are politicians, playing to the support of the majority.... and what does that say of the majority?
