On another tack, I am requesting that as many of the thread's participants as possible take some time this next few weeks to observe and report on retail activities in their geographic area. All indications that I have collected to date suggest it is going to be an extremely "trying" period, but it is best to try to keep an open mind. Personally, I will be particularly interested in retail activity in the (remaining) "wealth centers" (a category that is taking casualties on a regular basis of late).
