I am of the opinion that all porn sites should end with .xxx and there should be a browser setting that can either block, warn, or allow access based on user choice.

that might just be the smartest thing i think i ever saw you type. Good idea

it really really sucks..

I figure the day Im really going to get my ass handed to me is if I catch the virus where it goes into your system file, pulls all the JPG and GIF files and emails them to your address book hehehe..

My poor mom would have a stroke : )

Roger--I don't go to porno sites. For a good two years I told people I had never been to one.
Then...I got literally grabbed off the web while I was moving to another site. I had to turn off my computer to get out of it, a deluge of pop ups. I read the next day at an on line site that some porno sites were snagging people moving to unrelated sites and doing just what happened to me. Some enforcement body moved in and put a stop to that.
I got nailed again clicking on a deliberately misleading link in an e-mail message. Same thing, I had to shut down to stop the pop up porn.
Now these creeps will say they are trying to keep children out of porn sites. I didn't click on anything saying I was 18 or older. I didn't ask for any of it. Further my e-mail gets tons of porn site garbage. The headers range from deliberately misleading to utterly disgusting, the links they show are easy access to any child old enough to have his own e-mail and able to click a mouse. I strongly support your idea, with the only provision that it might not be strong enough.
All the Best
Druss

Great idea with the .xxx , Roger...may not cure
all but it's a great start.

Roger- figured this would raise your eyebrow..

My friend and I spent alot of time redoing my entire network from scratch.. Completely reformatted the hard drives etc etc etc and we go to send an email.. would you believe the problem was still there? went to s/i and tried to send a private message? same thing.. Ameritrade? still couldnt enter an order..

Know what the problem was? The router.. For the hell of it I killed the power on the router and turned it back on again.. problem solved..

Go figure THAT one out..I just whiped out my entire system thinkin I had a extremely tricky virus and it turns out my router was 'glitched'...

... I hate computers- with a passion you wouldnt believe..
