Heck, ild, I'm trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Even if the tech industry collapses (which would be much more harsh than just a stock collapse, which we've already seen), it won't be the end of the world. Heck, several people posting on this thread have been through multiple industry downturns that made the recent decline look harmless. The US economy could survive a tech industry collapse just fine. It might take a while to work out of it, but that's how cycles are.
