For many years, they denied that smoking was a cause of cancer. For many years, they denied that PCBs were unhealthy. Now, they are denying that global warming is a problem. I didn't believe them then and I don't believe them now. Smart people didn't believe them then and don't believe them now. The polar ice cap is melting. I think when the Keys are gone and they give up trying to build a sea wall to try to save New Orleans....Dan Burton Jr. will have a hearing. They might as well cancel the program to restore the Everglades, they're going under along with the lower half of Florida. Wonder if anyone has estimated the recovery costs to the US when sea levels rise, 1, 2, or 3 ft? Mind boggling what some people are willing to risk when it's a future generations problem. jttmab
