Hi Dave,

Thanks for dropping in. Even if you only served to make me jealous due to your New Years Celebration. That sounds like a fantastic way to bring in the new year!!!

We had also gotten together with some other families to celebrate New Years. There was a total of 13 children in our group. Big difference though, there were 6 parents and one grandma in our group of adults!!! We had a great night. Played a game called "Life stories." Oh my gosh did we laugh and laugh and laugh. We also enjoyed a roaring fire, ours just happened to be inside in a fireplace. I just cannot picture a roaring fire, moonlight and about 12 inches of snow, making for a good night here!!! <smiles>

All the children in our group stayed up til midnight. The age range was from 3 years old to 17 years old. The group of us all said a prayer, to ring in the new year, and then all joined in a sparkling grape juice toast. The kids think that is so special.

May your be greatly blessed in the year 2002!!!

Jane
