IH has nothing to do with my "agenda" in this thread. When's the last time you've seen me try to draw people over there? Heck, I don't even have a link to it in my profile. I post here because I am part of this community and have thoughts relevant to the thread, and many that are irrelevant.

But your commentary is taken under advisement, as is your seeming belief that you alone understand business and that nobody else understands even the simplest aspects.

I get the picture, Reid. You maintain that I don't know squat and message boards can't make money. I maintain that you're wrong on both counts. No need to get "nasty" about it. I'll just attempt to prove you wrong by action rather than convince you by word.

PS. Still doling out posts to us at the rate of only one per week? Sad that you wasted your weekly allotment on that one.

PPS. I'm not aware of any boards, whether privately or publicly held, that make their financials a matter of public information, so the "proof" you ask for is difficult or impossible to provide. As would be proof of your claim that all or any of them lose money.

Vendit:

Most if not all of the SI IDs that I see on this thread are far from knowing the reality of successful business ownership. I wonder how many of them know that when you buy a business you inherit the business LIABILITIES when you buy the assets.

On the subject of inexperience, have you ever heard of an Asset Purchase Agreement? How many transactions have you closed in the last 12 months? Just curious.

I don't know about the most, but I can guarantee you not all.

Former VP Finance of a computer start-up which was quite successful and on its way to going public until we decided to sell out to a NYSE listed company instead. All our investors did quite nicely, thank you.
