Kemble, my old friend, long time...Happy New Year to you, and to DELL and the thread! Took the plunge yesterday and bought my third DELL, a Dimension 8200 for personal use, just couldn't resist these giveaway prices. Shipment delayed by 10 days though, apparently ran out of the 16x DVD players, of all things! The J.P. Morgan upgrade of INTC sure helping the Nasdaq; wonder if Dan Niles' institutional clients are getting a little bit fed up with him! Niles, as recently as yesterday, was bearish on INTC, at 33....he was also bearish at 30....bearish at 25....and bearish at 18. That's why he gets paid a few million a year. Best Wishes, Sam

RE:Kemble and Sam Bose:I sat through about two months worth of weekends(with a very large personal position) where you did not know if planet Earth was going to go up in smoke-- waiting patiently for DELL to hopefully ascend-my wait may now be over.Matter of fact we could be looking at one DELL's big old "fast percentage breakouts" --as it moves/breaks up through 30 and stays there--- for a move to 40-"The management needs about 41 or so to escape the big PUT obligation created by selling PUTS--- and it has until next year or so to escape that huge obligation by notching the stock back up to around that level-- as I understand it"-"Does anyone know more on this subject?.Thanks for the article Kemble -Best to all.
