Don't be sorry, half the time when I post my thoughts I'm unsure and hoping someone will confirm OR let me know I'm wrong. That's often how I learn something new...

I would love to know exactly why it's doesn't qualify though, it looks exactly like a chart in IBD which was pointed out last week as having an extended handle which could be mistaken for a base. The article was called "Don't Mistake an Extended Handle for a Base" and the PMTC chart looks just like it. IT has the lower right side of the cup which is usually present...

There is also a top chart guru who spots many cup and handles that I don't consider true ones because the have big moves up - and back down at the base of the cup, messing up the pattern. Similar to the PMTC 60 min chart. But he still considers those cup and handles anyway...and following his picks for ages I know that they usually work out, even when the cup is questionable...

So, please explain why it's not a c&h, I need to know so I don't make the mistake again : )

Any thoughts about the NDX or the COMPX being in the process of forming a "cup and Handle" formation here on the daily?... anyone?

thx
