but that's no more confounding than the other places the "consumer" is still spending or should i say, charging.

is their habitual dining dollar (formed over the last ten years in particular) that much different than the other "descrestionary" habits they've formed? and indeed, all bulls pray will not change?

not to mention we just finished the feel good season, all warm, all cozy before a plate of overcooked overpriced shrimp and pasta smothered in immitation butter or a poorly prepared commissary packed bechamel (marked hint of primavera).....

it hasn't happened yet is my guess.

when was the last dining recession/depression?

1987? along with the savings and loan disaster?
