Tim: I have been having a few problems which I should report, although not many here will have anywhere near the old set-up I have. Am just getting greener with envy as I listen to all reporting on their new boxes and XP's and it's few minimal problems and lessened or no crashes. Back to AVG. Since I have a cable modem, my provider requires I use OE rather than Outlook for E-mail. Since I still have 95B (which never crashes) I am limited to OE5.5 as OE6 doesn't support Win95. Have only 64 RAM and 4.0 hard drive about 55% full after 4 years. (Not what you'd call a heavy user). Still zings on the net compared to others with new machines and dial up. But if I turn on the E mail scanner it locks up my inbox. I'm not sure what to do about this except that they say it doesn't matter anyway because the the shield will protect you as well. For those who use it here is the link to their FAQ on OE and what their plug in does. Is it my wooden head or is the grammar bad and the instructions written as a translation?
