No need to get all excited and start yelling Chris. I understand your fear, and it's ridiculous to me.

The reality of the situation is if we don't drill for oil in Alaska. The oil will come from some other source. Most likely Saudie Arabia and the surrounding middle eastern countries. Therefore, we have a choice. Depend on middle eastern oil, or safely drill for more oil in America.

The utopia energy vision you envision is a long way off. We aren't going to go from less then 5% solar to 90% any time soon.

Your path will most likely lead to more oil being shipped in large vessels across the ocean. The most dangerous environmental method of transporting oil. The Dashle Democrat path is a higher risk path. Higher risk to our environment and higher risk to our economic health.

Shutting off Alaska drilling is simply a political attempt to paint the other party as anti-environment. It's politics, nothing more nothing less. And those who don't see the reality of the situation have their partisan blinders on.
