Bill, National Gypsum, US Gypsum, Owens Corning and Federal Mogul all bit the bullet on asbestos. Hal basically did not own the main co. that caused the problems when the damage was supposedly done. But, the people are suing the co. with the deepest pockets. In all honesty, some of it is fair, some is unfair. The problem is, the amounts awarded are so high and the suits so many that they make survival look shakey.
