Pat:

Understood. However, on top of all that he receives as CEO; this year he did NOT siphon off a bonus for himself. Someone over at GWB posted an article that showed the richest folks ostensibly are paying a greater percentage of the taxes. However, they are paying a smaller percentage of their income to accomplish this. What this translates to, that those folks fail to understand! is the rich are getting richer and the poor, poorer.

Everyone has to pay tax on gasoline, but it's a relatively large percentage for middle income families than for the richest whose companies pay for company cars as well as gas, etc. Yeah, I do know and could go on forever about the growing chasm between us and them. I can't believe the naivete of those average wage earners who think Republican reps and Senators have their interests in mind as they pushed to give tax breaks to IBM so that the wage earner could pay a greater proportion of his wages to support corps. ...sigh.
