The more intelligent people are, the more likely it is for them to utterly lack even an ounce of it..

Interesting observation. Just would like to remind everyone of the thread founders Quote: -g-

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age 18. --Albert Einstein

An open minded mind is where it's at imho. But common sense is the place to be in any controversy --pearly button -g-

And I stand by my principle. IQ is connected to a positive education and business environment. Woe betide anyone who challenges me on that point.

The evidence [Dickens, and yes I have read his paper in detail] is in my favor. I'm locked and loaded on this racist horse shit.

I watched as some repressed guy was in awe when I helped him in his/her education. They were not expecting it. Many times!

God Bless the USA [multi cultured] Lets roll,

<I agree intelligence is multifaceted. I know that
And seldom co-located with common sense...

The more intelligent people are, the more likely it is for them to utterly lack even an ounce of it..

Hence its claim as the most ubitquitous oxymoron in the human race.

Hawk, the most ubiquitous oxymoron is military intelligence.

Defend freedom by conscription.

Yep, there's a lot of it around.

Now I know why the NSA is spending billions on gathering intelligence. They know it's there somewhere. Okay, it's a cheap joke, but it's late...

Common sense says conscription isn't freedom.

PS: More military intelligence.... those low IQ Arabs and Afghans will fall for this one... <

In its latest propaganda salvo, the Pentagon (news - web sites) has released leaflets with an image of a shaven, Westernized Osama bin Laden (news - web sites), suggesting the terrorist mastermind had abandoned his al Qaeda network.

The world's most wanted man has been subjected to a shave, a haircut and fitted into a beige Western suit in the latest U.S. attempt to track down Osama bin Laden.

In its latest propaganda salvo, U.S. airplanes have dropped leaflets in parts of Afghanistan (news - web sites) depicting a smooth-cheeked, Westernized bin Laden on one side of the leaflet and a picture of a dead al Qaeda operative on the other side with the text: "The murderer and coward has abandoned you."

The revamp suggests that the indicted terrorist had abandoned his al Qaeda fighters and turned his back on the cause now that the battle appeared to be lost.
