I'm sort of out of the loop on options.... used to work on the CBOE and know the ENMD specialists, but don't know about the trade. I would try and find out if they traded on the bid [MM"s buy, institutions sell] or the offer [MM's sell]... this would tell me if someone thinks they know of news coming out, or if some institution is simply selling X dollars worth of premium for extra income.

ENMD, worth keeping an eye on, has been heavily shorted since the infamous New York Times "cure for cancer" story, some time back. They haven't given up, but I doubt that this story caused the call buying:

Who wins for highest Implied Volatility to 30-day Historical Volatility, according to ivolatility.com?

Yes, IGEN, with 2.8 to 1 IV / HV ratio (130 / 46). It means options are expensive.

(Number 2 a surprise, wild and crazy Wells Fargo at 2 to 1 - (25 / 12))

CBOE seems to have finally got more current monthly historical volatility files posted. They've changed to Excel .xls format.
