You have got the facts right about the large numbers of civilians in Dresden during that incredible last inning bombing. They were not there for leisure or sightseeing however. There were multitudes of civilian refugees fleeing from the Russians advancing from the East holed up in the big railroad station. Many have always claimed it was a revenge thing demanded by the Brits for the bombing of London. Unfortunately thousands of innocent Eastern bloc civilians hoping to find shelter in that beautiful city were the victims also. Angler

Is this an easter egg hunt? Find the needle in the haystack? I went through the links. I saw nothing to support your statement. As to the books: Which book was it? You know, this really is a pretty good strategy you're using. Being challenged on something? Just throw out a few dozen references, both electronic and obscure, difficult-to-find books. When the victim has gone through the easy-to-access stuff and can't find what you're claiming, then just say it's somewhere in the remainder. Tell you what. Proof of everything I've said is somewhere in the Library of Congress or in black documents at CIA or NSA. Go find it.
