We had a nice New Year's....even won 300 bucks by hitting 4 aces on a dollar machine in Nevada. There is alot of snow at or above the 7000ft level. Below that elevation there is still alot of snow but it was warm and rained at the lower elevations below 7000ft. The rain froze and made frozen slush!! Bush said in southern Ca, " They will raise taxes over my dead body." What in heck did he mean by that cock-eyed statement? Like you mentioned in another post, local taxes will have to be raised in order to get bills paid. Does that mean he will commit suicide in the Oval office when the states are forced to raise taxes? Or is he setting up local politicians to get the blame when taxes are raised due to his irresponsible fiscal policy? Pat
