I guess you are right, but I have to act on what I see. I remember when my business was going down (a few times over the last 30 years) and the government usually insisting that business was not going down. I saw my broker lose his house, but still an insistance politically that business is in fine shape. When times are good, my bank is full, when not it starts shrinking. It's not shrinking too badly now, maybe I'm wiser, but perhaps things are not as bad as they are being made out to be and a tax break is just another way to implement an agenda that was in place when GWB came to office, irregardless of the state of the economy.
