When's the last time a computer was on the cover of Time?

These days, to get on the cover of AOL-Time-Warner's flagship consumer rag, maybe all you have to do is publicly stand up to Microsoft. Maybe we'll see Scott MacNealy on Time soon too. Maybe Judge Jackson.

We went over this a while ago. The cover of Time can be purchased, payable in "exclusive" advanced coverage for Time. Jobs has done it before two or three times, including the NeXT and the deal with Microsoft.
