can ALOG detect Tears from Heaven though?
sounds good
my take on the facility security and detection sector is simple
it must combine excellence in both hardware and software
because just seeing people and chemicals isnt enough
it must complete the next step and properly analyze
so as to make final conclusions

ALOG is onto something
too bad they cannot combine with software
but OEMing it is great if an accepted platform develops

I just heard today about a strong competitor to Visionics
for a month now I have been reading and delving
MIT has dubbed VSNX a probable dominant gorilla
in perusing, I find leaders in VSNX, VISG, IDNX
and now tiny Imagis Tech (IGSTF.OB)
Imagis is on Visionics heels but getting little publicity

I really wonder if one company will dominate this space
I doubt it
Visionics might with complete systems
the future applications are so far-reaching to boggle the mind
could replace all ATM pins, all commercial bldg access, even home security
very wide applications

in a couple weeks I will receive a report on Visionics and why they and Imagis and one other will kick serious butTOCK
in the meantime, their share prices are returning to earth
VISG is down, VSNX is sliding
the thought of taking little IGSTF from $30M mktcap to a $1B mktcap appeals to me
it aint really discovered yet
looking for one in this sector not yet quadrupled
only Imagis fits that bill
plenty plenty competition here, and that bothers me

thanks for the ALOG idea
putting it on my list and checking it twice
