tc:

I have a problem that I hope is just the wrong settings.
I have my computer (Windows ME)on during the day and logged into my internet provider. If I'm away and the computer is idle, my screen will go black as it would in standby but I can not wake it with the mouse or key board strokes. This happens after an extended period (I have not timed it but I'm talking in the hour range). During shorter idle periods the mouse will awake the computer. I have the "power scheme" set to turn off the monitor after 25 min but never to turn the hard drive off or go on stand by. Changing these setting will not affect the problem.

John
