Re: Dead Gurus That's obvious only because death is proof that they weren't a "guru" in the first place. That's why you can't be a Christian if you believe Jesus is dead. Jesus solved this problem by resurrection. Babaji (the "deathless avatar") by never dying in the first place. What is Adi Da's intention on this point?

You may wonder why your ass would need to be kicked. The ego just wants to be loved and congratulated. But it actually needs to be "undone" to a significant degree. For the ego is essentially a "creation" of NO/NOT. And any source of unconditional energy, light or Love essentially "kicks it's ass" in the exteme antithetical sense of the use of this phrase. From the ego's vantage point this process is an "ass kicking" exercise - ie. taking, defining, controlling, "creating" that which is negative. But from the light of the truth of our inner soul there's an opening up to this "inner awakening" that's going on - ie. freely receiving and sharing energy, light and Love that has no conditions, limits or controls that bind, hook, limit, refract or enslave the individual. So I chose to receive this statement positively. For there's really no "ass to kick" anyway for the ego is and always will be simply part of the ONE illusion behind the ONE LIE that feeds and fuels the ONE Black Hole which is the only thing it can lay claim to "creating." 119293!!
