THe question I ask is ," Would dubya be President if his father hadn't already been in politics?" The answer is obviously.....NO. He wouldn't have earned his way to the top of anything if he hadn't been placed there by others who were a part of the Bush machine. Heck.........Cheney was the guy who had Bush's father nominated for the CIA top job. And that is another problem for me.............anyone who has been head of the CIA has blood on their hands and shouldn't be President. Daddy was also the Chairman of the Republican Party during the Watergate crisis.................what a guy!!! LOL SO the C student kid picks up a Bible and all the Christian Coalition votes for him!!!.....It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Pat

Call To Action Last January 17th, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation opened its doors. We were told it was a new school, with a new mission, new instructors and a new curriculum. In the past year countless children, women and men have been forced into exile or made refugees in their own country. Union organizers, student activists and others working in solidarity with the poor have been assassinated. Across Latin America, thousands continue to suffer rape, torture, murder, disappearance and arbitrary detention at the hands of SOA graduates and their cohorts in the paramilitaries. Please tell your Member of Congress to join the 90+ current co-sponsors of HR 1810, by adding his/her support to the bill to close the WHISC. Ask him/her to co-sponsor the bill. One year has passed, and nothing has changed. The truth cannot be silenced. Now is the time to close the WHISC! ---------------------------------------- 2. What You Can Do Between now and January 31: Meet with your Member of Congress (MOC) when s/he is in the home district You should call ASAP to make an appointment.
