My first wife was brutally raped by a Puerto Rican, but I do not value Puerto Rican lives any less than any others. I was horribly beaten at the age of 14 by Italian punks, but do not value the lives of Italians any less now for that very painful memory.... I was punched in the heart full force at the age of 8 for no reason at all by an Irish young man and almost died and it permanently damaged my heart, but I do not hate or value the lives of the Irish any less. And it is the same thing in times of war, evil people doing evil things, but you do not punish or hold a grudge against the whole race for that, or value the lives of their innocent civilians any less for the crimes of the radicals in their midst....
