Speaking of bullflags...

there are huge bullish descending wedges on the COMPX, Nasdaq 100 and the Nasdaq Futures charts. Although the dailies are looking a little iffy, it's a different picture if you dial down to a 120 or 60 min chart.

We could still go quite a bit lower to complete these formations and then the potential is there that they explode out the upside. The COMPX one was almost broken today.

Just something to keep in mind!

The SPX had a very bearish candle formation tonight, three outside down after a bearish engulfing last night. Often this means the end of a down move and the reversal is swift. But sometimes it's a hint of further downside a few days later.

SPX did hold really important support today at 1157.83, after breaking through for a few moments.

SPX also has a perfect bullflag on the 120 min, more of a classic flag that the wedges on the nas. And it's getting a little oversold on the 120 for the first time since 12/31.

Hmmmm. Bullflags and wedges can break down, they don't always break out but these patterns are something to keep in mind. Because they tend to break out just when they look about to break down.

sounds great Susan - we used to go skiing once a year in Salt Lake - i had clients out there - loved it - 45 minutes to get to the bottom of the hill - awesome - here in the midwest on the ice it takes about 2-3 minutes! <lol> - i bailed on BEAS in all 3 of my accounts between 20.35 and 20.44 - looking to get back in after it pulls back (if it does some more?) - Oahu and Wakiki beach was wonderful - 80's and sunny all week - only holding STOR now - should have bailed up around 7 two days ago but didn't, paying the price now!
