Well, it started with honey dews - which I loved. First just a scratchy throat, then the flu symptoms. But, I was able to eat cantaloupes - for a while... until the scratchy throat which one day became a swollen throat (because I just had to test it one last time). And, because I'm an idiot, I continued to eat Watermelons until last year when, the scratchy throat started - I didn't however, push it to the swollen throat stage.
Found out it isn't all that rare but the doc said I am to absolutely to stay away from all melons.

I can't even eat fruit or food that has touched a melon! Really, I have to send food back if they put that cantaloup garnish on the side. Real bummer.

So, when the peanut thing started... I was much smarter. I hope it doesn't spread to chocolate because I'd just have to kill myself. :-)
