I disagree Joe. I am far from certain that we will be wiped out as a species even by the Sun going red giant (by then many of us will presumably be living off the earth, but we probably would have evolved by normal evolution of by genetic engineering in to new species. Of course I recognize that it is possible we could be wiped out much sooner then that but I think we could survive any remotely likely global warming or ice age. Either could potentially be a disaster but I doubt they could kill all of us. I also disagree with the assertion that Islam in general is bent on the annihilation of all non Islamic people. Tim
