We may be converging somewhat here. See if this helps. Assume for the moment that reincarnation occurs and that our current embodiment is but one of many. Who is it that is reincarnating? What is the relationship between these different incarnations? Why do we have no direct perception of them the way we do of our current concept of 'self'? Discussion welcome.

The Illusion of Man's Power to Create.... >>If you spend your time in contemplation of the Divine, spiritual practice of whatever form, meditation, yoga, surrendering breath, attention, feeling, mind, body into the Divine, moment to moment, your life becomes the outcome of that process.>> This only appears to be an act of "creation" on our part. If in contemplation of this Divine "I" am claiming to create an outcome that becomes ONE with the Divine I'd simply argue that this reasoning actually avoids the acknowledgment of the Divine actually doing the work to create, reform and regenerate His perfect order in our lives. >>In these sorts of ways, EVERYBODY creates their own life.>> Using this logic is akin to arguing that just because we turn on the TV and we are actually "creating" the images that are received by the TV. Spiritual reality is something that transcends our paradigm. The realm of spirit is the causal waves that proceed forth from the ONE End which is the Source which is God. Some of His perfect light, energy and Love is spun, refracted and diverted into these conditional illusions which are then passed along to others who receive and understand them as truth. And it's very much aligned with what Emanuel Swedenborg received and shared to state that the spirits from Hell spin truth into lies and the spirits from Heaven receive, share and celebrate them with zero/no spin or refraction or conditions or limitations. >>HOWEVER, they don't live themselves, beat their own heart, give consciousness, feeling, breath, perceptual mind, conceptual mind and so on. But what one DOES with all that, and how it is used to create a particular life is a matter of how people use FREE ENERGY and FREE ATTENTION.>> To the extent we give up all claims to being creators is the extent to which we freely receive this energy and allow Him to turns it into a perfect example of His order along the path of His perfect Use in ACTION. >>In most people both free energy and free attention are somewhat or profoundly obstructed.
