WBMW, thread, from the Motley Fool AMD thread, admitted misunderstanding, confusion and dispute over the meaning of AMD's XP model numbers (quantispeeds). And, these are largely expert AMD posters, I would say right up there with folks we have on SI! There are another 16 or so responses to the one below. It was such a hot topic that nobody got a word in edgewise on any other subject for over 2 hours!

wbmw, it seems that heat will be the primary concern for both Intel and AMD going forward. Whoever gets SOI working first gets the upper hand. Don't forget that AMD can only be really profitable when it's ahead of Intel. Parity only helps Intel.
