Tony, that guy Chuckreese makes a very good point. Where are AMD's benchmarks to back up their model number ratings? All I see them doing is increasing the model number by 100 for every 67MHz of frequency. The pattern has not changed for the last 5 iterations. Since the Athlon doesn't scale linearly in benchmarks, and since every iteration actually causes the model number and frequency to diverge, it's clear that the numbers are nothing more than B.S. This thread has known this from the beginning. It's interesting that some AMD cheerleaders are finally starting to come around.
