Enron goes running to Bush and his cronies...telling them that things aren't well in River City. And Bush and his crew respond by doing NOTHING unethical with the information.

Well, a lot of nothing. The pension fund lock up, if Enron is lying that they did not provide notice to their employees, then that is serious implication.

Is it illegal to receive campaign donations? No. Should Ashcroft recuse himself? Yes. You got a problem with that?

THe Treasury Dept. should have been informed of a major problem in the market.
