Keep trying or call them.

My experience with Dell customer service over the years (on I think 3 separate occasions) has been first rate.

Right click each device with problems and choose properties and there should be some details or a troubleshooting button that may lead you to an answer. Post the problems and steps you took to resolve them and maybe someone can help.

With a new machine you should still be in free tech support timeframe so I would not hesitate to call them and let someone talk you through your problems one by one. If you have a tech that you can't follow, tell him you'll have to call back and keep doing it til you find someone you like.
