Andy Grove and most all the upper management are Engineers aren't they? Who else made the decisions?

They're not Process Engineers, They're not P860 Development Engineers, and they don't work in the Fab. Marketing pushed for the transfer of P858 before it was ready, the Process Engineers were against it. Maybe Andy should have listened to us then..... He's listening now.

They don't sit in cubicles all day in front of a computer, if that's what you mean.

But I guess it all depends on what your definition of "engineer" is.
