They're not Process Engineers, They're not P860 Development Engineers, and they don't work in the Fab. Marketing pushed for the transfer of P858 before it was ready, the Process Engineers were against it.

So... Marketing came up with the notched gate process for
P3???

Barrett and Grove are chemical engineers. I thought that's who they hired for "process". I'll bet they did work in a FAB somewhere along the line.

I do think you are correct about Grove. He overreacted on a few things in the later years.
