Actually, no. The Socialist Party in Germany, the SDP, was opposed to the National Socialist Party, the NSDAP.


There were several Socialist political parties in Germany. The Nazi's was one of them, and they got the most votes in '32. I will put it more precisely. The people who voted the Nazis in were socialists.

- even in America - the two groups marched hand in hand; & don't forget the Nazi/Stalin pack that invaded Poland

- bottom line - you can always quibble, but the basic fact is that Nazism, Communism, & Socialism are all basically the same
