JEB, It would seem that the matter of free speech would cover most comments, but should not cover those that attack the core beliefs of millions of people. If he wanted to say that Jesus never existed, that is a position held by many, although I believe they are wrong, but to say that He was gay, a direct sin mentioned a number of times in the Bible, is particularly cruel, and may cause anguish to believers. Someone that has such little regard for the feelings of human beings, would probably torture small animals, IMO. He seems to delight in causing pain to others. If a person insists on being cruel, I feel some punishment should be applied. The law does not allow the punishment I have in mind, but it is probably better that it does not.
