Dave I was using the 2007 number of 2300 warheads of which at least a thousand would be aimed at China. I am sure there are more than that aimed at them now. As far as the shield. How would anyone be so stupid to think that is not a threat to China. If we have 2300 warheads and half are aimed at them and they have a handful and we have shield to shoot down their handful they are defenseless. The only way they can defend themselves is to build enough offensive weapons to make sure the shield in penetrated. So if they determine they need 500 to make sure they can defeat the shield, it will be 500 warheads. We tore up the ABM Treaty not them why should they trust we won't nuke em. We are they only country that has ever used em. In the mean time the Roguies will nuke us without launching a single ICBM if they so choose.
