Yes my computer is upgradable ready. I went to Dell's website and it performed the upgrade test on my computer....noo problem. I talked with two different Dell technicians yesterday because I was so mad that the XP upgrade I just bought at Staples wouldn't work. They both told me that the reason it wouldn't work was because I hadn't ordered it from Dell.....honest John. Fortunately for me I was able to sell the copy I had bought at Staples to a friend. I'll order the upgrade from Dell tomorrow. Ian
