I would also ask as it relates to Enron. What should the Bush administration have done instead? What would Democrats liked to see them do? Would they have preferred Bush bail them out and prevent the company from going bankrupt? Enron is a business scandal pure and simple. The management of the company failed their stakeholders miserably. It's really as simple as that...

We started the sabre rattling with the Chinese in April, so no one was attacked then. We decided to build the useless shield and start a new arms race before 9/11 (it would have been useless on 9/11). Now we have stated we won't dismantle our nuclear warheads just store and refurbish them thus irritating our new friends the Russians. I am not sure what you are talking about in the attacks you stated but they were not sponsored or funded by any governments of substance on this planet. BTW the way the Clingons are up there laughing like hell at the humans as we commit to kill each other. And yes the current admin has been sabre rattling since day 1. What do you think unilaterally tearing up the ABM Treaty means, and crashing spy planes in China, and telling the Russians well we changed our minds on destroying our warheads, and telling the whole world we are going to build a shield to protect us from your attack whoever you are but we will maintain an arsenal big enough to blow the whole planet to pieces and btw we are going to spend even more on defense so we can blow the whole world up better. What I would do is cut our defense budget unilaterally, cut nuclear weapons including warheads, negiotiate like hell with the Chinese and the Russians and our allies and build a world built on peace and free trade. And BTW, after these deals are cemented, I would tell any so called rogue nation that they will pay for misbehaving.
