Can you just imagine the screeching that would be happening now if the Bush administration had bailed out Enron? We can't have it both ways....either the company handles its business straightforwardly, or it doesn't. We all feel badly for Enron employees, but I'm sure we all feel badly for all employees who have lost their jobs in the last several years, and much of their savings as well. Savings that were in IRA's that contained tech stocks, and other stocks, like P&G, MOT, etc etc. The Enron mess will be interesting to watch however. Will give all of us something else to consider when choosing which stocks and bonds in which to invest....
