Waxman should get his head out of the sand. He should be asking why goverment didn't help CLEC's. Telecom sector lost over $1 TRILLION since 2000. Enron is a drop in the bucket.

The answer is--If they had helped, they would have been accused of setting up shop for a large corp.

Greenie,

Enron was carefully defrauding its employees out of their
rich retirement accounts, kept the cat well hidden
in the bag, unlike Chrysler.

When some Congressman suggests that Enron management
should cough up their easy billions to recompense
the victims, instead of me, the taxpayer, I might
be interested in hearing about it. I doubt it will
happen . . . Congress would much rather milk the
taxpayer than rich criminals, imho.

Best,
SAF
